Nice Girls Don't Explode

Nice Girls Don't Explode

review by Myke Nobody

Michelle Meyrink played April Flowers in the classic, out-of-print movie "Nice Girls Don't Explode". It's a gorgeous example of a girl with a mom that's way too overprotective. I think she's a metaphor for someone who became mentally disabled by the crazy actions of bad parenting. Cute April will make you fall in love with her just like her childhood best friend Andy does in this film that's as sweet as a billion pixie sticks. It's filled with ping pong, love, and a cuddly cat.

Nice Girls Don't Explode was released in 1987. Sadly, it was not popular enough to stay in print. Director Chuck Martinez created a lovely masterpiece though, and no matter how much it costs to buy, it's well worth the price you'll pay to see this beautiful love story that is completely nuts.

April Flowers is a fire girl. Whenever she gets horny, things explode and ruin her dates. That won't stop Andy from being with her. He'll do anything to cure this disease and get to fuck his darling, even if that means turning against April's weird mom.

I urge people to check out this movie. It's the greatest love story of all time, in my opinion. It's rated PG, but any age of people will fall in obsession with the hard-to-find gem. It's a great add to anyone's rare collection of films, or just regular movies. Find it at Amazon, or E-Bay, please! Please! Please! Because watching this feature presentation is like being on a shroom trip without having to get cow shit on your Keds, kids.
