Considerations in Choosing a Chastity Device

How long will you be enforcing chastity? If you are only going to lock your sub up for a scene, almost any chastity device will work fine, including leather ones. Of course, leather and plastic devices can be cut and even acrylic can be broken or sawed through – but then the tampering will be evident. The goal for female chastity devices should be to prevent penetration.

None of these devices is going to be truly comfortable, but they must at least be bearable.

3. Body functions. Unlike in a scene, your sub must be able to urinate and defecate while in long-term chastity bondage. A long-term device must provide easy means to do this--generally via holes.

4. Hygiene. The device must be rust-proof and easy to keep clean. All materials must be water-safe, as your sub must be able to take showers and clean the device in some way.
